how does it work?
QuadroStar ProYellow is the first semiconductor yellow laser designed for dermatology, used in the treatment of flat vascular lesions and selected pigmented lesions.
The laser emits a beam with a wavelength of 577 nm – optimal for selective absorption by hemoglobin.It precisely targets the affected blood vessels, closing them without damaging the surrounding skin.
The treatment does not require anesthesia. Immediately after, temporary redness and slight swelling may persist for 1–2 days. There is no need to refrain from work or social activities. Each treatment is preceded by an individual consultation.
Indications for treatment
QuadroStar ProYellow effectively removes a wide range of vascular and pigmentation changes on the facial skin.
Course of treatment
Assessment of vascular changes, qualification for treatment, discussion of the treatment protocol and any medications.
Precise pulses of yellow laser on altered vessels. No anesthesia – minimal discomfort (areas around the nose may be more sensitive).
Possible temporary redness and slight swelling for 1–2 days. Very rarely small scabs. No need for sick leave.
The number of sessions depends on the type and extent of the changes. Breaks between treatments are determined individually during the consultation.
Contraindications for the treatment
- Epilepsy
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Phototoxic and photosensitizing medications (1–2 weeks prior)
- Ibuprofen 24–48h before the treatment
- Isotretinoin (3–6 months break)
- High concentrations of retinol / retinoids and acids (2 weeks)
- Anticoagulants
- Active cancer
- Tendency to keloids
- Active skin or systemic infections
- Tanning or self-tanner
- Hair removal in the treatment area (4 weeks)

- Paracetamol (Apap, Panadol)
- Euthyrox, Letrox
- Vitamin D, vitamin C

Frequently asked questions about laser removal of vascular lesions
The pain is minimal – the treatment does not require anesthesia. Sensations around the nostrils may be slightly more intense. Most clients tolerate it well.
The number of sessions depends on the type, color, and extent of the lesions. Small spider veins often resolve after 1–2 treatments. Extensive vascular skin or rosacea may require a series. The treatment plan is established individually during the consultation.

Do not sunbathe for at least 4 weeks before the treatment. Avoid retinoids and acids for 2 weeks. Do not take ibuprofen 24–48 hours prior. Come without makeup. If you are taking other medications – inform us during the consultation.
