what does it involve?
Permanent lip makeup (lip pigmentation) is not just about emphasizing the contour and color of the lips – it’s an excellent method for correcting asymmetry, brightening the lip color, and achieving the effect of fuller, younger lips without the need for filler augmentation.
The treatment involves introducing certified pigment into the surface layers of the skin of the lips. Immediately after the treatment, the color is more intense – the final, natural effect is visible after complete healing. Lip pigmentation always consists of two stages – the main treatment and touch-up after 6–8 weeks.

Choose pigmentation technique
Delicate, semi-transparent pigmentation without a clear contour. The effect of 'lips kissed with color' – fresh, light, and natural. Ideal when you want a color refresh rather than a makeup effect.
Classic pigmentation with a more defined contour and uniform color intensity. An elegant, bold effect of permanent lip makeup – replaces lipstick.
Gradient pigmentation – more intense color at the contour, lighter in the center. Creates a volumizing effect without fillers, optically enlarges the lips, and adds dimension.
Advanced technique combining several shades and layers of color – the impression of softness, light and shadow, and full lips. Glamour effect without exaggeration. For discerning clients.
Course of the treatment
Selection of technique, shade, and shape of the lips tailored to the complexion and facial proportions. Discussion of expectations and possible corrections.
Precise work with certified pigments. The treatment lasts 2–3 hours. Immediately after the treatment, the color is more intense than the final effect.
The skin peels and the color temporarily fades – this is a natural process. After 6–8 weeks, a touch-up visit fills in any gaps and strengthens the effect.
Full, stable effect after complete healing. Longevity depends on technique, skin type, and care. The color lasts for several years.

Contraindications for the treatment
- Isotretinoin or antibiotics
- Active herpes or viral infection
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Chemotherapy or steroids
- Freshly tanned skin
- Uncontrolled diabetes or hemophilia
- Inflammation, wounds, or irritations around the lips
How to prepare?
- If you have had herpes – start antiviral prophylaxis (e.g., Heviran) according to the pharmacist's recommendations
- Hydrate your body – hydrated lips absorb pigment better
- Avoid peels and irritating cosmetics for 3 days before the treatment
- Avoid tanning, alcohol, and coffee 24 hours before the treatment
- Come without lip makeup
- For dry lips – moisturize and gently exfoliate them the day before the treatment
Care after the treatment
- For 3–5 days, use the recommended regenerating cream
- Do not kiss, lick, or touch your lips with dirty hands
- Avoid hot drinks, spicy foods, swimming pools, saunas, and tanning
- Do not peel off the shedding skin – the pigment needs time to settle
- Avoid lip makeup until complete healing

Permanent lip makeup at Turowska Clinic costs 1,300 PLN. The price includes the main treatment. Touch-ups after 6–8 weeks are priced separately. Check the current price list or ask during the consultation.
The lips are highly innervated, so some mild discomfort may occur. However, thanks to appropriate techniques, the sensations are minimized – our clients say the treatment is bearable.
The procedure takes 2–3 hours, depending on the chosen technique and individual predispositions. It's advisable to reserve a full block of time without rushing.
The pigment does not physically change the volume of the lips, but well-executed pigmentation (especially Ombre or 3D Lips) visually enlarges the lips, smooths them, and adds volume thanks to the light and shadow effect.
No – immediately after the procedure, the color is more intense and may appear darker. Over time, it softens. The final effect is visible after complete healing and touch-up.
Yes – especially in the Perfect Lip or 3D Lips techniques. The effect can be further emphasized with gloss or lipstick, but it is not necessary. Many clients give up daily lipstick.
